Why didn’t the fawn follow Jody up the steps as he had thought it would?
how did deer drink milk from the gourd ?

answer 1 the fawn was too young to get over the steps. it was not possible for the fawn because even it was Wobbled in simple walking .. answer 2 Jody help the dear to drink milk. he dipped his finger in milk and then thrust it into its mouth .then he lowered his finger in milk and made it drink with its snort.
