Why didn’t the pilot turn the aeroplane back towards Paris?

The pilot didn't turn the airplane back toward Paris because he didn't want to miss the breakfast.

What did the pilot decide to do?

The pilot wanted to meet his family and he also wanted to enjoy English breakfast with his family in Paris.

When he flew with his plane, he came across a huge storm.
Due to heavy stormy conditions and insufficient fuel, he could not fly back and neither towards Paris as he has come so far.
