why didnot mother recognise gopi and how did he feel

the mother didnt recognize gopi because she didnot ahd met him for long time and gopi might have been hurt by this.....
FAA: i dont rememebr much about the tattered blanket...story......had it 2years ago!

The mother had a weak memory.So she did not recognize Gopi. It seems that Gopi was not worried about her condition.
