Primary sector is the largest sector in the no. of employment. But it did not emerged as the largest sector in terms of economy. it is so because primary sector have given a large employment opportunities whereas other sectors have not generated enough job opportunities. Moreover in Secondary sector many of the labours are replaced by the machines. In tertiary sector there is more demand of skilled and educated labours but the educated labour in india are less.

Answer:

1) It is because not enough jobs were created in the Secondary and tertiary sector

2) Even though Industrial output or the production of goods all the production of goods went up by more than nine times during the period, employment industry went up by around 3 times.

3) By production in the service sector rose by 14 times employment in the service sector rose around 5 times

4) People in the primary sector are underemployed or disguised unemployed
