Black consist of all colours. These colours dissolve in different amounts of water.

when black ink comes in contact with water, it splits into many colours as each colour dissolves in the water and separates itself from the black ink at different water amounts(that are absorbed by the paper)

Explanation:

Eg. Green separates itself when the paper absorbs 5ml of water.

Blue may separate when 7ml of water is absorbed
