. Animals like cow, deer and sheep can digestcellulose present in grass and leaves, with the help of bacteria in their digestive systems. This is done with the help of a four-chambered stomach and two steps of digestion- partial chewing followed by complete digestion, together called rumination.

Ans. Ruminants can't digest the cellulose present in the grass and other fodder crops ,therefore they take help of the bacteria present in their first part of their stomach, the bacteria digest the cellulose present in the leaf and the food is again transfered to the mouth to chew again known as cudding
