Explanation:

Displacement is always less than or equal to distance. Note that distance is a scalar whereas displacement is a vector.So' displacement cannot be more than distance. Distance is the measure of the whole path covered by an object between any two points.

Displacement can never exceed distance because displacement is the shortest distance covered and also subtraction is done to get displacement and addition is done to gay distance
