Rain water conducts electricity but distilled water does not
------------------------------------
1)distilled water does not contain any ions in it as we remove all of them in the process of distillation and hence it cannot conduct electricity as it has lost all its ions which was the reason for the conduction of electricity
2)rain water contains many ions in it which will lead to conduction
for any fluid to conduct electricity it should have free electrons in it and electricity is due to the flow of ions in these type of materials

the reason why distilled water can't conduct electricity is that it don't have any ion in it.
the ions are already removed from it during the process of distillation. hence, absence of ions made it bad conductor.
