Each nucleotide has three components a 5-carbon sugar, a phosphatae group and a nitrogenious base. If the sugar is dioxyribose, the polymer DNA. There are two types of nuclec acid - deoxyribonuclec acid better known as DNA. And ribonuclec acid better known as RNA.
