A nucleotide is made up of 3 units- a nitrogenous base (which in the case of DNA are 4- guanine, adenine, cytosine and thymine.Thymine is replaced by the base uracil in an RNA molecule.), a pentose sugar(DNA polymerase in this case) and a phosphate group. Also, since a DNA molecule is made up of several nucleotides bonded together by chemical bonds, DNA is a polynucleotide.
Nitrogeneous base +phosphate group +pentose sugar=Nucleotide
Nitrogeneous base +phosphate group +pentose sugar=Nucleotide
