Because magnetized nail act as a magnet and unmagnetizes nail act as only iron metal and a magnet attracts iron metal ..

abrahamrussom: Thank you sis, yes you are wright, but i need a detailed answer, I mean what does it take from the magnet? does the attraction force of the nail differs if we magnetize it with the north end of the magnet or south end of the magnet? if so with which end has strong attraction force?
Pratishtha2003: both poles have same attraction force
Pratishtha2003: in my opinion
