The acids will not show its acidic behaviour in the absence of water, this is because acids do not dissociate to produce H+(aq) ions in the absence of water.

Hope it's helps u

Answer :-

Acidic behaviour of water is due to formation of H + ion . But in the absence of water acid does not dissociate to H+ ion . So it does not show acidic behaviour in absence of water .

Hope it helps !
