Aerosols are the mixture of fine particles in the air. Or it can also be referred to as colloid of fine particles.
Aerosols can be both naturally occurring or man-made. Naturally occurring aerosols are fog particles, dust, Forrest fire fumes particle, volcano dust etc. Man-made particles are smoke, air pollutants etc.
Aerosols affect the atmosphere in many ways. For example, aerosols scatter the sunlight back into space which affect the temperature resulting in decrease. Aerosols also absorbs pollutants which in turn cause this pollutants to settle into atmosphere, water, ocean etc. Large concentration of aerosols also affect the air quality and thus breathing. For all this reasons, man-made aerosols are banned.
