Answer:- We have learnt that acids are the substances which contain one or more you. Hydrogen atoms in their molecules which they can release water as hydronium ions. Similarly, bases are the substances which contain one or more hydroxyl groups in their molecules and can release them in water as hydroxyl ions. Since the ions are the careers of charge. Therefore, the aqueous solutions of both acids and bases are conducting in nature.

Tendency to conduct electric current is the common characteristic of all acids and bases when dissolved in water.
