Element a substance made up of one kind of atom example element helium is made up exclusively of helium atoms.

Elements are normally differentiated as metals/nonmetals.

Majority of elements listed in periodic table are metals where elements usually share 3 prime properties.

Luster in Metals are shiny when cut, scratched, or polished.

Malleability is when metals are strong which means they can be easily shaped.

From centuries smiths have been able to shape metal objects by heating metal and shaping it with hammer.

If it was nonmetals the material would shatter!

Maximum metals are ductile means they can be drawn out for making wire.

1) to remove the layer of metal oxide and to prevent rusting of iron..

2) most of the metal react with oxygen from the environment to form metal oxide which leads to discontinity in the circuit so metal get polish before using it.
