Hello friend this is your answer..

food is something that provides nutrients. Nutrients are substances that provide: energy for activity, growth, and allfunctions of the body such as breathing, digesting food, and keeping warm; materials for the growth and repair of the body, and for keeping the immune system healthy.

Hello friend...

ANS- Like power station needs a gas and coal to power its turbines and generate energy, so we also need a fuel that's in the form of food.

The food we eat provide some nutrients-
•Vitamins
•Minerals
•Water
•Fat
•Fibre
•Protein
•Carbohydrates.

We get energy from the food that is essential for the life.

Hope it helps...
