it depends upon the functions.
vacuole of plant cell is big . it exerts more pressure towards cell membrane. so it needs the help of cell wall .
as it exerts opposite force. in the abscence of this the cell will burst.

in amimals vacuole is small so it exerts less pressure . this is why animal cell donot contain cell wall

like this there are many variations

COZ ANIMAL CELLS AN PLANT CELLS HAVE DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS AND STRUCTURE TOO.WELL PLANT'S ARE CAPABLE OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS SO THE CELLS CONTAIN VACUOLE IN A LARGER SIZE-TO STORE SOME THINGS WHICH ARE NECESSARY TO PLANT.BUT WHEREAS IN ANIMAL CELL THERE WILL BE SOMEWHAT SMALL VACUOLE.AND ANIMAL CELL HAS ONLY CELL MEMBRANE BUT PLANT BOTH CELL WALL AND MEMBRANE.SO PLANT CELLS SHOW LARGE VARIATIONS IN SHAPE COMPARED TO ANIMAL CELLS BCOZ OF THEIR OWN FUNCTIONS..........

HOPE THIS HELPS. PLS MRK AS BRAINLIEST.
