why do animal's tissues require more energy as compared to plant tissues

Animal tissues need more energy compared to that of the plant tissues because the animals have to move from one location to another to get their food and carry out other tasks.

In case of plants, such criteria are not recommended because plant tissues need not to move from one location to another to get their own food.
