why do animals dont get diseases when they clean themselves with their tongue

Dogs and cats have very sturdy immune systems.  They expect to eat raw and even sometimes rotting meat.  Dogs can consume their own and even other's feces without too much digestive trouble.  They move it through a very short digestive tract to extract nutrition and get the remainder out before it has a chance to fester.  Cats generally don't, but they do eat the intestines of their prey, some of which would soon be coming out their butts.......I think its enough for u to understand it ..pls mark this as brainliest
