Why do animals hibernate?Explain.

animals hibernate as they cannot gain anything during those season and they cannot resist those conditions so they hibernate as they don't breed .....

Animals hibernate to keep themselves comfortable and warm in winter seasons.Not all animals hibernate, but still animals like skunks,bees,snakes,groundhogs and bear etc..... hibernate. They start to hibernate in September and October and emerge six to seven months later.
