Aquatic animal have faster breathing rate than terrestrial animal because atmosphere have high concentration of oxygen as compared to water so that it is easy for the terrestrial animal to breath easily where as aquatic animals need more oxygen for satisfaction of energy so they breath faster in water

Because because the amount of dissolved oxygen in water is fairly low compared to the amount of oxygen in the air♥️
