Why do areas in the tropics and those at the pole shave different temperatures?

Answer: It depends on how the sun rays are directed to the particular region.
Explanation: The sun doesn't reach till the north or south pole whereas it is direct on the equator. thus the poles are cold whereas the equator region is hot.
Example:The Arctic circle and Africa are good examples!
