Why do astronauts wear specially designed suits?
Answers
Answer:
ASTRONAUTS HAVE TO TRVEL TO MOON .Moon is a place which has no gravity nor atmosphere .Due to this there is a lack of oxygen .
The suits protect astronauts from getting too hot or cold.A spacesuit protects astronauts from those extreme temperatures. Spacesuits also supply astronauts with oxygen to breathe while they are in the vacuum of space. They contain water to drink during spacewalks. They protect astronauts from being injured from impacts of small bits of space dust.
When sunlight hits the moon's surface, the temperature can reach 260 degrees Fahrenheit (127 degrees Celsius). When the sun goes down, temperatures can dip to minus 280 F (minus 173 C).
Hence in order to be saved from the devastating effects of such temperatures atronauts have to wear spacesuits

Astronauts go to space where the conditions are not same as that of the Earth.
They were special suits because of the following reasons-
1) The suit controls the temperature inside the suit to make it moderate. So that it is possible for the astronauts to survive when the surrounding temperature is extreme.
2) The suit controls the pressure inside it as there is no air pressure outside.
3) The suit has oxygen supply for the astronauts to breathe.
4) The suit helps in communication with Earth and the space craft.
Hope it helps you!
