Why do auricles have thinner walls than ventricles?

auricle have thin walls than ventricles because the blood is pumped from this chamber with more pressure than the pressure needed to pump blood from auricles.so, the walls of ventricles are thicker having more muscles whereas auricles having thinner walls with less muscles
