Hello friend

Ball bounce because we apply a force on ball as we applying our hand to throw the ball on the ground so a force is acting on the ball so when when the ball hits on the ground it comes up and bounce

Hope it will help u

THE SURFACE THAT THE BALL STRIKES WILL ABSORB MOST OF THE ENERGY UPON IMPACT AND SINCE THE MATERIAL IS NON ELASTIC IT WILL NOT BE COMPRESSED OR RESHAPED WHICH WOULD GIVE IT THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF FORCE TO RISE OR BOUNCE.
