Why do basic solutions contain some H+ ions?

yes, a basic solution has H+ ions. But the concentration of H+ ions in the base is very less as compared to H- ions which are predominantly present in the base. Therefore it shows basixpc characters in the solution....

Yes, The solution is basic and also have hydrogen ions but in lower quantiity. But the concentration is less as compared to OH- ions that make the solution basic in nature
