Why do beryllium halaides fume in air

Beryllium halides are covalent and soluble in nature.when they react with moist air then during hydrolysis there will be the formation of halogen acids. As a result they fume in air. 

following will be the reaction for these phenomena- 
 
BeCl2 + H2O--->> Be(OH)2 +HCl
