Bone China and glassware are wrapped in papers or straw pieces because they break very easily. To prevent them from being destroyed they are wrapped in papers or straw pieces.

Bone China & Glassware are wrapped in paper or straw before packing to avoid any breakage during transportation.
There are collision between the packed ware due to jèrk experience during transportation.
But the soft packing material slow down their rate of change of momentum.
The force of impact is reduced & items are not broken.
