The bulbs have two terminals, that is the positive and the negative. There are two terminals in the bulb so that there is a continuous flow of current and the bulb will glow.

The bulbs have two terminals because, a circuit can be completed only when there are both the positive terminal as well as negative terminal, as the current flow is allowed only when the circuit is complete. Hence, the bulb has two terminals.
