Children always slide down the slide nor up due to the gravitation force of Earth which attracts everything towards its centre.
If this slide was in Sunita's spacecraft then it would not be so (unless artificial gravity is produced). The children then would be able to slide both upward and downward. This happens due to absence of gravity.
