Why do cleistogamous flower produce assured seed sets

Explanation:

Cleistogamous flowers means those which do not open at all i.e closed flowers. So The pollen grains of the flowers land on the stigma of the same flower and bring about fertilization even in the absence of pollinating agents. Thus they are said to produce assured seed sets even in absence of pollinating agents.
