Why do clothes take longer to dry in winter?​

When it is low humidity there is a lot more available capacity in the air to absorb the water out of the clothes. Then of course a bit of wind helps to push the water out of the clothes and the heat also helps to get water to evaporate. This is why clothes dry faster in summer in your area than in winter.
