why do countries don't prefer direct democracy in present scenario? give 3 proper briefly explained reasons.

1) due to the increased population as it will. act as a big problem to elect majority for each law .

2) sometimes people promote only those laws who are in their benifit and support their needs . This leads to the discrimination .

3) sometimes less participation leads to an incorrect decision.
