THE COWS NEED TO CHEW THE CUD BECAUSE THE FOOD WHICH THEY EAT ARE MADE UP OF CELLULOSE WHICH IS A COMPLEX FOOD.WHICH DOES NOT EASILY DIGEST WHEN INGEST.SO TO MAKE IT SIMPLE FOOD,FOR FURTHER DIGESTION EASY THE COWS NEED TO CHEW THE CUD
