Thave an expiry date. Mostly all edible products have a shelf life, i.e., they are likely to lose their minerals and other materials present in them over time.

because dairy products have bacteria like lactobacillus which produces lactic acid and the presence of lactic acid make the milk taste sour from sweet and the milk get converted to curd and then as per given time milk get spoiled due to microbes present in it

shudhiqa: i thought you asked about dairy only well tye answer is same regarding other packaged foods too they have some biochemicals or microbes which was inhibited or slowed their growth by preservatives and by process like pasturization and other processes but it have expiry date when the biochemical process get triggered it started degradation of the food hope this helps
