damaged seeds float on water because the damage occurs inside the scene so when the damage occurs inside the seed the seed usually becomes hollow so air stays inside the seed which makes a lighter so that it can float

Hi friends,
Damaged seeds tends tend to float on water because they lack all the nutrients and ingredients that are required for the plant to grow. The become hollow from the inside which allows them to be filled with air. This leads them to become light in weight as compared to the healthy seeds. It is the property of water that lighter objects float and heavier objects sink. This is the basic reason for the healthy heavy seeds to sink down.
Thanks
