Why do deep sea divers, mountaineers or astronauts wear specially designed suits?

To get oxygen. In water, dissolved oxygen is present. We cant breathe it. And at high altitudes oxygen levels are less. And in space there is no air. For all these reasons these people carry oxygen cylinders with them
