Desserts are hot and dry and they have Temperatures between 20° C and 49° C.
The deserts have rough and sandy soil which doesn’t allow proper vegetation.
It is not possible for the plants to thrive in this condition.
The few plants that do exist in a hot and dry desert are equipped for preserving water.
They have thick coatings and some of them are canvassed in thorny spines to counteract the loss of water and to shield them from creatures that may endeavor to chew them to get to their dampness.
