Every atom needs stability that is want to have a stable outermost electronic configuration so to get this stability the atoms bond with similar or different atoms.

Hope It Will Help.❤

atoms form chemical bonds with other atoms when there is an electrostatic attraction between them.when the same atom get closer it get reple each other due to the like charges present in them. when different atoms become closer the get attracted each other due the unlike charge present in them .

when they get attracted the valence electrons present out side the atom create some stability so the different atom get combined and the molecules are formed
