Answer
Since there will be a different time with a slight variance of longitude at every meridian, thereis a need for having a standard time for practical purposes and to create less chaos and confusion. Thus the standard time zones and Central Meridianswere born.

Answer:-
A country is crossed by a number of Meridian so the country has about number of local Times . It would cause a lot of confusion and travel for the country men when they travel from one place to another in their own country because they would have to keep on sitting there watches according to the local time of that place . To avoid such confusion the local time of Central Meridian is taken as the standard time for the whole country that is why different countries follow Standard Time.
