why do drawing pins have pointed ends?


abhi1o1: bcz p=f/a less area means point so easly get penetrated

pins have pointed ends so that they gets embedded easily.... or in other words...they r pointed so as to decrease the area of contact which thus leads in easily embedding the pins easily :)

To increase pressure,so that the colour will be coated easily
If area is less pressure becomes more
