why do driver and the person seated in front seat needs a seat belt??

Actually,only the persons sitting in the front seat doesnt need seat belt rather the back seater(s) to need so.but its much important regarding the front seaters Because the car moving with a certain velocity possess inertia of motion because of which the persons sitting in the car too are in motion.As the car suddenly stops its difficult to change the state of inertia i.e.,from inertia of rest to inertia of motion,the person sitting imside the car continues to move in the direction due to inertia and the persons sitting in the front seat i.e., the driver and the other seater will move in the forward direction and may get hurt by colliding with the inside front part of the car.For thus reason,seat belt are adviced to be used so to increase the conatct with the car and the persons can share the motion simultaneously.
