Electricians use rubber gloves while repairing an electric circuit because rubber is an insulator (does not allow electricity to pass) and human body is a conductor (allow electricity to pass easily) and thus if a person is not wearing rubber gloves, electricity can pass through the human body, the person can get electric shocks and the person may even die. To prevent this people wear rubber gloves or any other insulator (for example plastic gloves) while repairing electric circuit or doing any work related with electricity.
