Why do electrons form a cloud around the nucleus?

because they are the most super excited particles of atom which tends them to revolve around the nucleus of the atom.

Because electron travel around the nucleus in a wave form. So as the wave have its crust makes the cloud of electron around the nucleus. And the probability of finding electron will be more in electron cloud.
