Why do esters with higher molecular weight not have strong smells?​

It is because , the smell is totally depend on nose. If the smell is travelling through air, then it can be felt with nose. In the Fragrance you will get to smell the strong smell it is because it has a lot of evaporation which is totally related to boiling point. But the Ester has higher boiling point. That's why there is not the strong smell in Ester with higher molecular weight.
