Why do farmars do agriulture in karif season?

Kharif crops are grown in the rainy season. Paddy, maize, soyabean, groundnut and cotton are examples of kharif crop.  Kharif crops needs high temperature and  rainfall for providing water  to grow properly.

Wild animals like tiger amd ect do naot eat plants. does this mean that they can survive without plant? can u provived a suitable explanation?
