Manures are some semi-decayed organic matter which is added to the soil in order to maintain its fertility, crumb structure (proper structure of the soil and the humus or a proper balance), aeration (inducement of air into the soil in a more proper way) and hydration capacities (keeps the soil well hydrated in order keep the moisture intact into the plants root hairs). So, it is quite advantageous to have manure as a organic matter or "renewable fertilizers". Fertilizers are used to increase the yield and productivity of the plant maintaining the soil and plant composition but, is reduced to protect the river waters and the ill effects to the animals it cause, main cause for eutrophication.
