Why do farmers grow different crops in a field?

they do so to keep a crop rotation.growing same kind of crops again and again could make the soil less fertile and tired because that crop will keep on draining the land........i.e. it will take in the same nutrients needed for that plant’s growth.and sometimes ,certain pests can reach levels that are hard to control when they learn to make a home near a field that always has the same type of crop.crop rotation helps mitigate each of these effects.
