Firefly Glow at night because a type of chemical reaction take place at night named bioluminescence. The enzyme luciferase acts on the luciferin, in the presence of magnesium ions, ATP , and oxygen to produce light(luciferin that undergoes oxidation in the presence of air and an enzyme).
