"Due to the process of Bioluminescence happens inside fireflies, they glow at night. Inside their bodies, there is some kind of unique chemical reaction occurs. The chemical reaction results with the formation of light.

With the aid of a bioluminescent enzyme like luciferase, oxygen reacted with calcium and adenosine triphosphate to form luciferin, this produces the light finally.

The formation of luciferin leads to form light in their bodies. This phenomenon is known as Bioluminescence."
